Hey, it's national play-doh day!

How cool is that?! We actually have a national play-doh day!
Some of the links I looked at say the 16th and others say the 18th... we are "celebrating" today :0)

Here is my newest and favorite

Play Clay recipe
*Mix

-1 cup flour
-1 cup water
-1/2 cup salt
-1 tablespoon oil
-2 teaspoon cream of tartar



*in a pan.




*Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture forms a ball.




*Cool.



*Knead food coloring into a ball when cool enough to handle.



*Store in a sealable bag.


This recipe is from our Sonlight curriculum. It's by far the best one I have tried. Have a happy Play-doh day full of manipulative fun!
